Natalie Weichel started out working with horses at the young age of seven. After many successes as a competitive youth, Natalie decided to attend Olds College
where she completed the Equine Science Program in 1997. Natalie then moved to Texas where she had the opportunity to learn techniques and train with some of the top
reining trainers, including Craig Johnson. Following her time in Texas, Natalie moved back to Saskatchewan to open her own training operation, Whispering Sands Training Centre.
Since 2001, Natalie's talent and dedication has turned out numerous provincial, national and world show award winners in a variety of disciplines, including Reining, Western Pleasure, Hunt Seat, Trail and Halter.
Besides training and showing, Natalie also gives riding lessons to casual riders, non-pro and youth competitors. Check out the

Her talents extend beyond Canadian boundaries as she has been host and teacher to a number of international riders from Japan and Spain. In addition, she has quickly carved a reputation
of matching Canadian bred horses with international markets. Over the years, she has been instrumental in exporting horses to Japan, Spain and the United States.
