Shelbie was on a horse since before she could walk, riding since she was just 2 years old. She has been around horses and lived with them all her life and lives on a farm 12 minutes south of Saskatoon. Before she got into reining, she tried English and Jumping and she was in 4H for about 10 years.

Shelbie has been showing in Reining going on 6 years and this year will be Shelbie and Squirt's (Rio Eyes) fourth full year as a tream. Squirt is now 9 years old, born in June of 2000. His sire is CD Rio and his Dam is Twistin Ginger.

Squirt was purchased in the fall of 2005 and he has been absolutely perfect for Shelbie, every single year. As you can see from their accomplishments below they have wons lots every year and we hope to see Shelbie and Squirt do just as well, if not better, this year.

This year (2009) will be Shelbie's last year in the Youth 14-18 category.
